Célyne, aka Scarly, is a passionate entrepreneur who has turned a path full of obstacles into a real success story. Born with a disability, she became known during the Covid pandemic by selling face masks to fund her prosthesis. Her loyal, engaged community soon followed her into a new adventure: handcrafting candles.

Atelier Virginie in Luxembourg: the fragrances of a life full of twists and turns
Virginie has always been a maker at heart. After almost 20 years in a comfortable career with the European Communities, she decided to leave it all behind to look after her children… before discovering, by chance, a passion for crafts. A simple German magazine sparked a vocation, which turned into a success thanks to decorative candle holders that became popular with restaurants and hotels in Luxembourg and Paris.
But her story does not end there. After an enforced break, at the age of 50 Virginie reinvented her career, guided by her love of fragrance. Trained in Grasse, in aromatherapy and in candle making, she designs unique collections, often rooted in Luxembourg’s heritage, combining gourmand notes with olfactory emotion.
Today, every Atelier Virginie candle is an invitation to a sensory journey, made with passion and authenticity.
