ABOUT THIS FRAGRANCE
This woody "Smoked wood" fragrance will enhance your home creations.
All our fragrances are developed by Terre de Bougies and made in Grasse in Provence, France by master perfumers. They comply with European(CLP CE N°1907/2006 & 1223/2009/CEE) and French(IFRA) standards.
None of the fragrances in our catalogue have been tested on animals.
The top notes open on the resinous freshness of pine, lifted by the aromatic accent of artemisia and a smoky note that sets the tone from the start. This opening evokes a forest in winter, with the scent of a wood fire drifting in the distance.
The heart notes reveal a warm, characterful accord in which leather blends with the green depth of oakmoss. Guaiac wood, with its smoky and slightly spicy nuances, enriches this harmony and gives it its full intensity, both raw and enveloping.
The base notes lastingly establish the woody signature of the fragrance. Cedar brings its dry, noble structure, sandalwood a creamy, soothing roundness, while vetiver prolongs the trail with its earthy, slightly smoky accents, for an intimate, warm and deeply comforting atmosphere.
To dose your creations, we invite you to carry out your own tests according to the aromatic intensity you are looking for. This also differs for each fragrance.
To incorporate this fragrance into your wax, we advise you to follow the dosage indicated on the product sheet as well as our guide on how to correctly dose your scented candles and melts.
For other dosages, please refer to the IFRA certificate available to download from the product sheet to find out the maximum authorised dosage. We also offer dosing guides for all types of creation.
Our online dosage calculator is there to help you measure precisely the proportions of wax and fragrance needed for your production.
Enjoy a symphony of aromas that lasts, thanks to our high-quality fragrance that guarantees a unique olfactory experience throughout your creation.
Choose top quality with our "Smoked wood" fragrance from Grasse. Your creativity deserves the best.

A perfume should be stored away from light and at room temperature (20°C). Under these conditions, you can keep your oil for up to 24 months. If the perfume crystallises, simply heat it to a maximum of 30°C.
Candle fragrances are governed by European REACH, CLP and IFRA standards, guaranteeing safe use when heated.
Some may contain CMR substances, but the final candle is not dangerous. As the fragrance is diluted in the wax, the risk remains low under normal conditions.
Natural does not necessarily mean safer; some natural materials also contain CMR compounds, while synthetic alternatives can be better controlled.
Most phthalates are banned: only ethyl phthalate remains authorised, within a strict framework, and it is not considered hazardous under current regulations.
Finally, regulations change regularly, which can alter the classification without changing the formula. "Without CMR" or "Ethyl-phthalate-free" filters help you make your choice.
Conversely, "CMR-free" does not mean "risk-free": these fragrances may contain natural allergens, and their IFRA dosages must still be respected.
Here, "CMR-free" means zero presence, not "below the declaration threshold": the absence is attested by each fragrance's CMR certificate.
