For a long time, the fragrance in a cleaning product had a fairly simple job: to leave behind a pleasant “clean smell”. In 2026, that view is changing. Cleaning your home is no longer just about getting rid of dirt: housework is becoming a genuine wellbeing ritual. Cleaning products now take their cues from perfumery and personal care.
And that is exactly where we are heading today, with a brand-new range: eight detergent fragrances and two neutral bases designed to carry them. Everything you need to make a floor cleaner or washing-up liquid at home that smells exactly the way you want.

Why scent your cleaning products in 2026
In March 2026, Personal Care Insights named wellbeing, sustainability and sensory experience among the major shifts in the home care sector. The cleaning products market is reported to have grown by an average of 18% a year between 2021 and 2025, and fragrance is now seen as one of the key drivers of consumer choice.
In other words, people no longer choose a cleaning product solely for what it cleans, but also for how they want to feel when they use it. Laundry detergent, linen, cleaners, liquid soap: everyday products are becoming new ways to express your taste and create a personal atmosphere.
That is where making your own cleaning products really comes into its own: it is the only way to decide exactly what your home will smell like.
Eight scents, a room for every mood
Each fragrance in the range has been designed for a particular spot in the home and a particular mood. It’s up to you to create your own scent journey, room by room.
- Olive — for the kitchen. Authentic, Provençal, natural.
- Fresh cotton — for the bathroom and laundry room. Clean, soft, reassuring.
- Precious sandalwood — for the living room and bedroom. Warm, elegant, cocooning.
- Fruity cocktail — for the hallway and living spaces. Cheerful, sparkling, energising.
- Peach and coconut — for the bedroom and laundry room. Soft, sunny, exotic.
- Tiare and jasmine — for the bathroom. Escape, wellbeing, spa vibes.
- Orange blossom and basil — for the kitchen. Bright, Mediterranean, aromatic.
- Lemon and mint — for the kitchen and bathroom. Invigorating, zesty, ultra-fresh.
These eight fragrances share the same purpose: to hold up in a cleaning product, withstand rinsing and leave a clean trail behind them rather than an overpowering cloud. Find them all in our cleaner fragrances range.
Two neutral bases, a 2% dosage
Fragrance alone does not make a cleaning product. It needs a base: a complete, ready-formulated detergent that just needs its scent. We are launching two of them, made in France and formulated with a soap made from coconut (copra) oil and olive oil.

The neutral base for floor cleaner is a clear, colourless and odourless liquid. The neutral base for washing-up liquid, which is thicker, is a cleaning product for washing dishes by hand. Both let the fragrance you add take centre stage.
The instructions fit on a single line: 2% fragrance mixed into the base, and your product is ready.
One important point: only detergent fragrances are suitable for these two bases. Our candle and mist fragrances do not belong in them.
Update — October 2026: the liquid soap fragrance range has been discontinued. These same detergent fragrances are now the ones to use for making liquid soap, at the same 2% dosage.
The difference it makes, from floor to sink
Cleaning your floors
Diluted and applied with a mop, your mixture cleans your floors and leaves a fresh, long-lasting scent throughout the room. In fact, you choose a floor fragrance the way you would a home fragrance: it sets the tone once the door is closed, and it is often what creates that clean-home impression.
Washing dishes by hand
A scented washing-up liquid transforms a task you repeat every day. The base cuts through grease quickly and effectively, lathers up on the sponge and leaves your dishes clean and sparkling. The finished product degreases thoroughly while wrapping your hands in a soft, sophisticated fragrance: elegant, never heavy.
Compliance and commitments
All eight fragrances are ethyl phthalate-free and cruelty-free. They comply with the REACH regulation, IFRA standards and the European Cosmetics Regulation. The two bases comply with Regulation (EC) No 648/2004 on detergents.
Where to start
Start by choosing the base for the job, then the scent that suits the room. All that’s left is to pour your mixture into a suitable bottle, and your homemade cleaning product will finally carry the scent you chose for it.
